This is the Sk8ter Boy! I just love this shot of him... He is the twin Brother of my Christmas Beauty you see below... These two are so fun to photograph! We crack jokes the whole time they are here... I love his long bangs! and too think he just had them cut!
You see it on the LCD... You know it is good.... It is in the back of your mind the rest of the session... It is the first one you open when you upload the CF card... It is Beautiful.... It made her Mom cry.... It is Perfect.. I love this shot!
This is our newest addition... Mr. Max! We got him when he was six weeks old.. In this shot I think he is about seven weeks... He is following in Koko's footsteps and likes to check out the photography props... He is about twelve weeks now and growing into those ears! My God he has huge ears... I say he looks like a mouse! Koko and Max are buddies too... It is fun to watch them play.. I will get an updated picture soon... He has grown to almost twice the size he was when we got him..
WOW! I never knew a goodie bag of candy could pay off so well! and it seems candy is the bribe of choice this week! These two guys were such fun! So many silly expressions and wacky-ness! Between the funny faces we managed to get some really great shots! These two guys are gymnasts and I was impressed with their handstand skills... More to come of course but I had to share these B&W's! Love them...
Megan is always excited to hear that I have a photo shoot at the "Duckie Park." I bring her along sometimes as my assistant to break the ice with little ones... Seems strange but they always warm up to someone their size alot easier. Today the kids had a ton of fun feeding the ducks in between sitting for their pictures... And with a couple jelly bean bribes the wee ones were very cooperative...
Here is my Supergirl! She actually wanted her pictures done. When she asked we headed straight to Great Clips to get her bangs trimmed with no hesitation... When we got home she rang the doorbell and came in just like a regular client! She even threatened to cancel the shoot since I was taking too long on email... We did hair and makeup too... Gotta love it when they will cooperate..
She was up at 5:30 a.m., went to school and only wanted to play while she was here! Halloween pictures, those were the furthest thing from her mind! So once her little Tinker Bell costume came off she "thought" she was done! Little did she know the new petticoats and shirts had arrived! Being done we didn't get alot of smiles from little miss but we got this sweet little expression and it is sure a keeper!
You would never know of the bug sucking vacuum sitting just behind me or the Halloween cookie in the kitchen! Two bribes just waiting to be sprung on the boy... But this Vampire did an awesome job! I would tell him to make me some scary faces and he would say "I am a ghost!" So this is his ghost face... Megan says he looks like that scary mask at the store... I think she means the guy from the movie Scream!
I have been taking "S's" pictures for about four and a half years now! She is like a niece to me and I have watched her grow into a beautiful little girl... This is literally the first shot I opened to look at and WOW! I just love it... We took these on my new backdrop that I had ordered for the Holiday Season... It is called Crimson! What a fun shade of red for the Holidays... Jen, there are more to come but I had to share this one!
Megan loves to color! She will color me a picture everyday.... Flowers are her favorite thing to color and draw.... Today she decided to draw us... I am the one with the green eyes :) We are eating chocolate chip cookies... On the back it says to: Mommy - Love, Megan...
Some of you may remember little JJ. He is also one of my famous babies... I have him displayed in the studio and I hand out his birth announcement as a sample... (he is the newborn in the incredible eye contact shot) When he came last year for his three month pictures it was all we could do to keep his hands out of his mouth! JJ and his Mommy came all the way from New Jersey to visit some friends and family and while here his Mommy brought him to do his one year old shots.. I love this shot of him, the way his little eyes look... and yes his hands in his mouth again!
This is "N." I have been taking his picture since before he was born! (I did his Mom's Maternity shots way back when) I can't believe he is going to be four this month... Where has the time gone?? What a sweetheart he is! You would never know we bribed him with candy corn... :)
Meet baby "J." This "little" guy weighed in at a whopping ten pounds even! The day his pictures were taken he turned three weeks old... I told his Mom he was twice the size of the last newborn to come through the studio! He slept like a champ and we even managed to get some awake shots... I will share one once I finish editing his session... What a precious bundle of joy he is...
Think Megan is done sitting for me?? If looks could melt your lens this one definitely would! Oh my! My little sweet baby... She doesn't even look real... What an intense glare!
This is Miss "M." She is the famous baby that was on my business cards last year... (the shot above) and now look at her... She just turned one and is oh so adorable. She was all smiles today... I can't believe it has been a year... What a doll...
There is something about a pouty little lip that melts my heart! "A" is Mr. "N's" little sister and she did an awesome job as well... What was funny with these two is that they both wanted to have their picture taken at the same time! There is a sweetness to this shot that I am just drawn to.. As soon as I opened it I knew it was a keeper...
This is Mr. "N!" What a little character.... He was sooo much fun! and so full of expressions, he made my job easy! He is about to have his Birthday so his Mommy brought him over to get his pictures done. I just loved this little guy... Keep checking back to see his sweet little sister! Off to proof her shots...
This is Miss "H." She has to be the cutest thing ever! We ran out of time on Sunday when I took her sister's newborn pictures, so "H", her Mom and baby Sister came to play today... She has the bluest eyes and red ruby lips! What a combo... and her little personality, can you tell I just love this little sweetie... You would never know that she didn't want to wear the hat!
This is baby "G." She made her way into the world six weeks early... I did her Mommy's maternity photos just in time! Little miss came a few days after the shoot! I think I would be in trouble with my sister if I forgot to share this one. Megan has six cousins and four of them are girls... 3 from her Daddy's side and one from my side. I love this picture of "J!" I was so excited to try out the floor length tutu! Now to get some shots of her brothers to share! Wish me luck!
Here is one of little Miss Megan... She started Kindergarten this year... Where does the time go??? This one is after a hard day at School... She changed into her comfy PJ's and I decided to snap a couple shots... Gotta love Hello Kitty and that messy hair... (and just in case you are wondering?? This is my other niece, commonly known as the "middle child!" Since she was very little she has always reminded me of the little "Precious Moments" figurines you can buy at Hallmark... She has such the sweetest little face...
Here is a little sneak peak for the Mom to Be. We had such a fun session! and tried something new with paint! ( I will give you all a peak when I am done editing the session!) D looks amazing and you would never know that this baby makes number three!
